The Morning Coat (“Cutaway”)
The morning coat is the daytime equivalent of the tailcoat. Appropriate for events held in the morning or before 6 p.m. Worn with striped Stresemann trousers, a grey waistcoat, and a white dress shirt with a silver-grey tie – or alternatively, a wing-collar shirt with a soft grey cravat.
The final touch: a grey top hat.
Perfect for weddings (especially as a groom’s suit) and formal daytime receptions.
